BIBLE CLASS SOCIAL.
The Presbyterian Bible Class held their usual monthly social on Thursday evening. A pleasant and enjoyable time was spent in games, competitions, etc. Musical items being contributed by Ula Thomson, Xina and Violet Botaroff and Irwin Tapp. (Competition prizes being won by Misses M. Barron, MacArtney, R. Wishart and Master I. Tapp. The hostesses for the social were the junior girls’ class, who arranged a very fine programme. After supper the Rev. W. if. Nicholas presented the members of the class with their badges and spoke of the symbolic meaning of the B.C. badge. The colours, blue, white and gold signifying loyalty, purity ind service. A tasty supper was handed round and an enjoyable evening was brought to a close by the. singing of “Auld Lang Svne.”
