Const-able J. Y. Bell has received notice of his transfer to Dannevirke and will leave Fox-ton within a day or so. Constable Lincoln, of Wellington, has been transferred to Foxton.
The friends of Mr -1. Westwood, of Purcell St., will regret to learn that he is at present an inmate of the Palmerston X. Hospital. Mr W. Mould, of Johnston St., is at present an inmate of the Palmerston N. Hospital. The friends of Mr A. (“Boy”) Stevenson, who entered the Plumerslon N. Hospital last Wednesday with a fractured jaw, will he pleased to learn that he is making good progress towards recovery although it will he some time pefore lie will he able to return to Poxton Mr F. Carnumt, of Johnston St,, is still an inmate of the Palmerston X. Hospital but; is reported to be pn egress ing sa tis fact o rilv.
