BOWLING.
To-morrow afternoon two rinks from Shannon will visit Poston green to play friendly games. It is not expected that Levin Club will send two rinks, as reported in our last issue. Howlers are reminded to bring a basket. An endeavour will be made tomorrow afternoon to also play the seini-liual games in the Thomson trophies competition. One of these matches was played yesterday afternoon, when Newth and Hinds beat liowc and Easton, after a close contest.
