PULPIT BREVITY.
Speaking - at an induction service at St. Andrew’s Church, Auckland, last week, the Rev. W. J. Coi'nrie, addressing the newly-inducted minister said: “The first thing I say to you in connection with your public service is he brief. Risk being misunderstood, and send your people away asking questions and asking for more rather than feeling that they have been overfed. The tendency of the age is to be wordy. Guard against it at all costs.”
