CARGO BROACHING.
Wellington, This Day. A seaman on the Raranga, v named Lis,* was sentenced to six weeks’ imprisonment, to-day, for broaching or being a party to the broaching of cargo. A large quantity of cigarettes were missing, most of which were found subsequently in the coal bunkers. He will be placed aboard if the vessel leaves the Dominion meanwhile.
