Captain C. Larsen is at present spending .a holiday in Eketahuna.
Miss M. Walker has accepted a position in Healey’s Pharmacy, Wellington, and leaves Eoxton next Monday to take ui> her duties.
Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Perreau left yesterday for Invercargill where, "here Mr. Perreau will represent the local Borough Council at. the Mimieipal Conference.
Mr. .1. K. Hornblow (chairman of the Palmerston North Hospital Board) left for Wellington this morning to attend a executive meeting of the Hospital .Boards’ Association and conference with the X.Z. branch of the British Medical A ssocialion.
Mr. 11. Frankland, a member of the Karori Rifle Club, Wellington, and one-time member of the local t ifle Club, lias again done well at iln* annual meeting of rifle shots lield at Trentham this week. His came appears among those included in tin* “King’s Fifty.” This is the second occasion on which he has gained that honour.
