PLUNKET SOCIETY

The usual monthly meeting of the Pinnkft iSociety was held in the Society’s rooms on Moday, 10th instant, at 3 p.m. Those ■ present were: — Mesdames F. -Robinson (chair), D. Christie, W. Trueman, AY. H. AValton, Adams, AA r . Smith, Bain, Ogilvyt, Fergus son, Martin, Perreau and Barron (lion, secretary). Accounts amounting to 15/5 wore passed for payment. The proceeds from Mr Corn’s weighing machine for three months amounted to 14/5. Mrs F. Robinson was appointed visitor for the month.

Resignations were received from Mesdames F. Procter, Doel and Walton, and accepted with regret. Arrangements were fiiialised re the “Plunket Day” to be held on March Bth. The idea of “Plunket Day” being that the public will be called upon once only during the year to subscribe to funds for working expenses.
