RUGBY FOOTBALL.
SHANNON. CLUB’S ANNUAL MEETING. The general annual meeting of members of the Shannon Football 'Club was held on Monday evening. Mr. A. Richards presided over a good attendance of members. The financial statement disclosed a credit balance of £l4 19/3 During the season the seniors played jiine games in the championship matches, won 4, lost 4, drawn 1, and in the Nash Cup played four, won 2, lost 1, drawn 1. In the championship games the juniors played 12, won 8, lost 3, drawn 1; while in -the Licensed Victuallers’ Cup games they played three, won 2, lost 1. The thirds played eleven games in the championship, losing all of them!. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year; Patron, Mr B. Brann; president, Mr A. Edginton, D. McLaggau, J. Grey, R. Sands, 11. Spring, B. Brann; senior selector, Mr R. Sands; junior selector, left to management committee; thirds selector, Mr K. Carter; auditor, Mr F.
