Those in the habit of riding bicycles on borough footpaths will have to keep a careful watch out in the future unless they are anxious to appear before the local •Magistrate. Cr. S. E. Cowley qalled the Council’s attention to this dangerous practice by local bi--eycle owners at last night’s meeting and said the chief offenders were children. It was considered that some of the “children” were a little on the elderly side and that the youngsters were not altogether to blame when they saw adults riding to work on the footpaths. It was decided, however, to draw the traffic inspector’s attention to the matter.
