MEMORIAL TO LATE MR. A. S. EASTON.

4. FX VEILED AT ALL SAINTS’ CHURCH. A memorial to thi‘ Hi to Mr. A. S. Easton was unveiled at All Saints’ Clmreli on Sunday by Mr. Win. Nvc, Peoples* Warden. The memorial, the gift of Mrs. A. S. Easton, consisted of two handsome windows, one depicting' Saint Peter and inscribed “Yea Lord, Thou Tvnowest That T Love Thee,” and the other Saint Andrew with the inscription “Andrew Telleth his Brother.” At the bottom of both windows is the following: “In blessed memory of A. S. Easton, 50 years churchwarden of this Church.”

Both scenes, said Rev. Walton in his address, in which he spo'lce on the above texts, were emblematic of the late Mr. A. S. Easton. That of St. Peter was symbollic of his loyal and faithful service to the Church for over half a century during which he showed by his life of service that he loved his Maker. The other window depicting St. Andrew carrying out his duties as a disciple also retieded the life of the late churchwarden who at all times sought to persuade his fellowman to seek Christ and serve Him.

The windows are the product of the well-known firm of Messrs Heaton, Balter and Boyne, of London, and are fine examples of art and an asset to the Church.
