HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT.
The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram, dated 21st instant, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London Hernp:—Manila market quiet, closing rather easier. “J” grade for Jauuary-March shipment quoted sellers £35 10/-. Sisal: —Market steady notwithstanding poor tx*ade support. Closing values for January-March shipment No. 1, good mai’ks £37, fair’ average quality, £36; No. 2, £35 15/- to £35. New Zealand market very quiet. Tlio only business has
been done in small lots of common. Nominal comparative closing values unchanged. Stocks in Gi'eat Britain on 30th November 59 tons •against 33 tons same time last year.
