Messrs L. C. Bryant (President) and |C. Procter represented the local Tennis Club at the annual tournament held in Palmerston North on Saturday. In the. singles match G. Procter was defeated by Hooper, 4 —6, o—3,0 —3, 6—2, and Cope (Palmerston North) lost to L. C. Bryant 3—6, 4—6. v Procter and Bryant defeated Thompson and Fox in the doubles, 1 : —6, 6 —4, 4 —G.
