WEDDING.
SCOTT—ANDERSON. A quiet but pretty wedding of lo - cal interest was celebrated at the residence of the bride’s parents, Coley Street, on Thursday evening, December 19th, when Doris, third daughter of Mr. and Airs. C. Anderson was united to Joseph Harold, son of Mrs. Scott, of Wellington. Rev. W. H. Nicholas was the officiating clergyman. The bride, who was given away by her father, was charmingly attired in vedgewood blue ninon and lace with hat and shoes to match, and carried a bouquet of -white and pink roses. Miss Nonna . Reid, neice of the bride, was in attendance as bridesmaid, and was daintily attired in salmon pink crepe-de-chine and net and carried a bouquet of mauve and pink flowers. All*. A, Walls carried out the duties of best man. The bouquets were the gift of AGs. F. Procter. After the ceremony the wedding breakfast was partaken of when theusual toasts were honoured and felicitous speeches made. At the conclusion of the ceremony the happy couple left by car for the north and on their return will take up their residence in Foxton.
