LEVIN’S TALKING PICTURES.
OPENING ANNOUNCED FOR WEDNESDAY. SUCCESSFUL SOUND TESTS MADE. Such progress has been made with the work of installing the Western Electric talking pictures plant at the De Luxe Theatre, Levi iq that successful tests of the sound apparatus have already been made, and the management are able definitely to announce that the “talkies” will be opened on Wednesday next. The great feature -will be the Vita-phone drama, “Drag,” presenting Richard Barthelmess .and Lila Lee. The prices of admission will 'be 3/- (plus tax), 2/and 1/6. Madge’s char-a-banc will convey Foxton passengers each evening and seats may be booked at Ball's, tobacconist.
