REVALUATION OF BOROUGH OF FOXTON.

TO BE COMMENCED AT EARLY DATE. At the monthly meeting of the Foxton Borough Council; held last night, a reply was received from (lie Valuer General to the Town Clerk’s letter asking when the revaluation of the Borough of Foxton would he commenced, stating that owing to pressure of work a delay had been occasioned in starting the work but it was hoped to commence the revaluation shortly' in order that, the revised troll would be ready for next year.

Councillors were of the opinion ' that the above communication was - " not altogether satisfactory, as the matter jhad been held up now for a •considerable time.

It was decided to write the Minister of Internal Affairs, expressing .the Council’s dissatisfaction (with }he attitude of the Valuer-General in not proceeding with the work of •levaluino 1 the Borough.
