INTER-SECONDARY SCHOOL SPORTS.
THOMPSON SHIELD
The annual triangular Contest (Foxton, Marton, Levin) for the above shield will eventuate on Saturday, 14th inst. Last year the Thompson Shield contest proved to be the sporting event of the year in Foxton, and those who did not witness the sports missed something worth while seeing. All are cordially invited, admission is free, but a collection will be taken up to help defray expenses. Tennis will commence at the Club courts al 9 a .mi., swimming at the baths 1.30-2.30, athletics at Easton Path 3-4.15.
