OBITUARY.
MARGARET LIDDELL —AGED 85
YEARiS.
The death toot place at the Palin ejrsf on North Hospital on Sunday, after a brief illness, of Mrs. Margaret Liddell (relict of the late John Watson Liddell) at the age of S 5 years. Deceased enjoyed comparatively good health until a few
u eeks ago when it later became necessary to remove her for treatment in the hospital. Deceased for many years lived alone in the old County Council building in the street which bears her late 'husband’s name. She was the daughter of Mr. D. Lind, of Wanganui, in which town she was manned in 1803 to Mr. J. W. Liddell. The late Mr. Liddell settled in Wanganui in 1855 and in 1872 took up his residence in Foxton where he carried on business as a gcnciral merchant. He passed away in May, 1905. There are nine child-
ren and a number of grandchildren left to mourn their loss. The interment took, place at the. Kelvin Grove
Cemetery (Palmerston North) this afternoon.
