Rand said it, had heen a' long standing promise that Purcell Street residents .would he given a footpath and conditions,there were appalling in winter time. The Mayor said that, the road foreman had’ informed him that Purcell Street footpath was to he the first work carried out after Christmas. “Possibly it may be done sooner,” lie concluded.
