“It is really surprising' to find how little is known in New Zealand of the geography of Tasmania,” remarked one of the Tasmanian farmers in the party visiting New Zealand. L “Tasmanians do not know much about your country, but I think that they aire better informed in this respect than your people arc about ours.” The result of the visit, he thought, would do much towards dispelling a certain amount of ignorance on both sides.
