A snake 38in. Long found in the house of Mrs. J. Wied, of H'oe Gate, Hambledon, Hampshire, was killed by a neighbour. Mr. Ilamsay MacDonald has accepted the offer of the Freedom of Inverness, which will probably be conferred this month.
