The eob-web social held in the Methodist Hall on Tuesday evening was both a social and financial sue-, cess. Each strand of the web contained a parcel, but the strands were so cunningly inter-twined that a general mix-up occurred before the unravelling was successful. This led to a great deal of confusion and amusement. Games and a . competition were indulged in, the latter being won by Miss Dorothy Edmondson. Miss Chalk, of Levin, contributed two much appi’eciated vocal items- A tasty supper was handed round at the conclusion.
