PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.

On Wednesday afternoon the Ladies’ Social Guild met at the resilience of Mire. John Ross, Thynue ‘Street, and a pleasant social afternoon was spent. The competitions were won by Mesdames Baird and Warwick. Dainty afternoon tea was dispensed by the hostess. It was agreed to leave the next monthly social in the hands of the young ladies of, the congregation. A combined Bible class social took place last e-v&ning in the Presbyterian schoolroom, when a large number of young people spent a happy evening in games, community singing, competitions, etc. Supper was supplied by the girls class. The winners of the competitions were Misses Lexie and Edna Tollison, Joan Mason, Mary Thynne and Robert Judd.
