THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist wires at noon to-day as follows: The indications are for westerly winds 'moderate to strong, later temporarily backing by - west to south. Alainly there 'is a ,prospect of fair to cloudy weather, but at times the weather will prove squally and changeable, with scattered showers, mild. Barometer unsteady but has falling tendency. Seas rough, tides good.
