HEALTH OFFICER’S REPORT

BOROUGH OF FOXTON.

At Monday’s meeting of the Foxton Borough Council the Health Officer (Mr.J .W . Huggins) reported as follows in connection with the borough for the quarter ended July 31st : The number of infectious disease eases investigated during the quarter were as follows: —Diphtheria, 1; pneumonia, 2; pulmonary T. 8., 2. ” Sanitary inspections were made as follows: —Visits to habitations, 14; requisitions served, 3; visits to •food sellers premises, 5; requisitions served, 1; plumbing and drainage inspection, 7; requisitions served, 1; visits to hotels, 4; requisitions, 1. Mr. Huggins reported that beyond routine matters attended to there is nothing special to report. The choking of a common drain was investigated and the clearing supervised and apportionment of responsibility assessed. 9
