On Saturday afternoon the men’s team of the Levin Golf Club Foxton where they met a local team on the Herrington Golf Links. The weather was fine but a cold wind was blowing. An enjoyable tune was spent oil the links, however, Levin winning the match by two boles after interesting play. The scores were as follows, Foxton players being mentioned first: — AI. B. Bergin beat Adams; J. Newton jnr. halved with Todd; C. AI. Hewett halved with Brown; A. P. Easton lost to Bull; D. R-. Ogilvy lost to (Philips; F. A. AXason lost to Percy; J. Newton snr. lost to Sraaill; W. H. Walton heat Davies.
