BEAUTIFYING SOCIETY.
. A deeting of the local Beautifying Society was held last night, presided over by the president (Mr. AL E. Perreau). Also present were Messrs ID. .Christie, J. K. Hornblow' 'and D. R. Barron. It was decided to apply to the Borough Council for a grant to meet current expenses. The question of raising funds was discussed, .and it was decided to hold a shop day at an early date.
