ELECTORAL BOUNDARIES.
NO ALTERATION WAITED,
There was a lively stir in the House of Representatives on Thursday night, when Mr. C. A. Wilkinson, Independent member for Egmont, rose to state that he wished to refer to the next election.
“If everything goes well we will not have another election until 1931,” said Mr. Wilkinson. “It is a long time ahead, but the point I wish.ho make is that there will be alteration of boundaries before then. In my opinion it is too soon to make an alteration. It is not fair to members. -I would suggest that the boundaries Should not be altered more than once in ten years. I would also suggest that the present boundairies be allowed to stand for another three years.
