PERSONAL.
Mr. J. Pringle, of the commercial department of the N.Z. Railways, is paying an official visit to Foxton. The object of his visit is in connection with the Harbour Board’s request for a more equitable system of-railway freights, similar to the concessions granted to Wanganui. At Monday night’s meeting of the Foxton Borough Council a motion of sympathy was aceoi’ded the relatives of the late Mr. Wm. Ross, who some years ago served the borough for a short time on the (Council. A! motion of sympathy was also passed to Cr. Lucinsky in his recent accident.
