IMPROVEMENTS SUGGESTED. Mr. Lomesan, Public Works inspector, made an inspection of the new Courthouse and grounds on Wednesday and conferred with the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Town Clerk (in the absence of the Mayor) in reference to a request that the Department lay down lawns on either side of the new building instead of re-erecting the old picket fence. The Inspector said that if the Borough Council would undertake to keep the lawns in order he would recommend that the Department lay down the lawns and carry out the other improvements suggested. The Mayor has given an undertaking that Borough Council will attend to the upkeep of the lawns.
