PLUNKET SOCIETY.

MONTHLY MEETING. The usual monthly meeting of the Foxton Plunket Society was- held in the Society’s rooms on Monday. There were present: Mesdames F. Robinson (President in the chair), Adams, A. Ross, Bain, Doe], Edwards, Martin, Peffreau, Baker, and Barron (lion, secretary). Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames Christie, Trueman, Bergin, IV. Smith (Moutoa) and Fergusson. The nurse’s report showed visits to Foxton, 4; visits to homes, 21; adults -to office, 38; babies to office, 19; older children to office, 14, a total of 71. Accounts amounting to £2O 15/were passed for payment. Mrs. F. Robinson was appointed visitor for July. Plans for new building were received from the Advisory Board and discussion ensued in connection with a site for building. A motion -o-f sympathy was passed to Mr. and Mrs. Perreau and Mrs. F. Procter in their recent losses.
