PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

LADIES’ SOCIAL GUILD. Airs. W. Knocles entertained members and friends of the Presbyterian Ladies’ SocialJ3u-ild at the monthly meeting in the Presbyterian Sunday school yesterday. There was a. splendid attendance and a •most pleasing feature was the presence of a number of ladies from the other churches. Songs by Ales dames G. iSmith and Riches’ were very much appreciated. Two original .competitions caused much interest and amusement, and were won toy Mesdames Perrean and S. Austin respectively. A dainty afternoon tea was provided toy the hostess, and dispensed with -the willing aid -of some of the guild members. Before dispersing, the President (Mrs. Nicholas) moved a vote of thanks to .Mil’s. Knocles for the most enjoyable afternoon she lad provided, which was carried toy ace'!munition.
