LUNCH CLUB.
At the monthly meeting of the lunch club to-day Mr. ID. Christie occupied the chair while the speaker was Rev. W. H. Nicholas, in place of Rev. Edmondson who was indisposed. The took 'as his subject “Business Values of Baekbiock Home Mission Work.” After a most interesting address a vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. S. H. Poole and seconded by Mr. E. A. Mason. Members present were: Messrs' G. F. Smith, I. Corn, S. Mattar, S. H. Poole, R. P.afikes, W. Gliblett, A. E. Scott, M. E. Perreau, R. Riangiheuea, H. E. Garb eft, F. A. Mason, F. H. Murray and Captain Matheson. A welcome was extended to Staff-Captain Hayes and apologies were received from Rev. Edmondson, Rev. Walton, 'and Messrs J. Aiticlieson, Desmond, Ilewett, Martin, J. K. Hornlblow and R. 0. HornibloW. Commissioner Ha.y, of the Salvation Artmy also sent an a pology.
