HIMATANGI SHIPPING COMPANY.

STEAMER FOR THE FOXTON TRiADF. TAKE UP RUNNING END OF NEXT MONTH. We are informed that the Iliumtangi Shipping Co’s. steamem “Coolebur” purchased in Sydney for the Fox ton-South Island trade will arrive at Wanganui from Sydney at the end of this month with a cargo for that port. The vessel will 'then proceed to Wellington where certain additional improvements will be added to facilitate cargo handling and will take up her running about the end of next, month. The steamer is to be called the Iliniatniigi. We are also informed that the share capital is coming in very salisfactorily from local and district residents.

A meeting of .the provisional directors was lujld last evening and reports of the preliminary arrangements were highly satisfactory. A meeting of shareholders will he convened at an early date.
