BOROUGH FINANCE.
TREASURER’S -STATEAIENT. The treasurer reported as follows at last night’s meeting of the Foxton Borough -Council: —'During the month of April the sum of £492 19s 7d -was received and banked -as follows: Cemetery Account £6 13s Gd, District Fund Account £486 6s Id. The ledger balances at the 30th April were as follows: —Accounts at debit totalled £1471 14s 9d and welre made up as follows:—Gasworks £522 2s 4d, general £402 10s 2d, Hospital (Board £53 16s Sd, interest £493 5s 7d. The accounts at credit were: — Fixed deposit £IOO, rate arrears £SB 15s lOd, cemetery £lO5 Is Bd, Drainage Construction Loan £236 10s Bd, heavy traffic fees £4 5s Od, library £2 14s Bd, reserves £lO2 14s 1-Id, Town Hall £251 0s 3d, Town Hall pictures £l2l 18s 9d, woikcr’s .dwelling- £2 Is 4d, waterworks £595 15s lid.
