This evening the Citizen’s Committee will hold a grand finale plain and fancy dress ball at Moutoa. Larkin’s full orchestra, and free busses. . To-lmorroAV afternoon the Sports Crmmittee will hold a garden party at the residence of Ah’- and Mrs. D. Christie. There will be a number of attractive, competitions and a treasure hunt. Afternoon tea provided. The price of admission will be 1/- only. To-morrow evening the Sports Committee Avill hold a dance in the Masonic Hall. Special attention is drawn to the fact, that the Sports euchre party will be held in the Masonic Hall on Friday evening, 26th inst. Both the date and place have been altered in this instance.* There will be a presentation of the points prize ~at this function. A number of other dates are advertised by the Sports Committee. The Country Cdnunittee wish to specially draw attenetion to the fact that their grand concert and dance to haA r e been held at Oroua Downs to-imorroAV night, has been (postponed until Tuesday, the 30th inst. On Wednesday, t May Ist, the Country Committee will hold a garden party at the residence of Air. and Mrs. D. Christie, Avenue Road. The Citizen’s Committee will hold a shop day in Main Street on Wednesday, May Ist.
