ALL SAINTS LADIES GUILD.

ANNUAL MEETING.

The annual meeting of All Saints’ Ladies’ Guild was held last Friday ‘afternoon when there was. a good attendance, presided over by the 'President (Mrs (F. Robinson). The annual report and balancesheet were read and adopted. The statements disclosed the fact that £143 had been raised by the Guild during the year, of which amount £22 bad been raised by the children’s hall, £lB by afternoons and £ls by garden parties. The annual sale of work was responsible for £6O of the amount and subscriptions accounted for another £lO.

Regret was expressed at the loss from the Guild of Mrs €. A. Pearson and Miss Jordan, both of whom have left the district. New members elected during the year wei-e Mesdames Bain (Manawatu Heads), and Nieot and Funnell (Orona Downs). A motion of sympathy Was passed to Mi's R, Easton in her recent bereavement. Mrs F. Robinson tendered her resignation as President, which was accepted with regret and Mrs W H. Walton was elected to the vacancy. Mrs W. Trueman was reelected secretary. The holding of the children’s ball was discussed and preliminary arrangements were made. A letter was received from the Vestry thanking the Guild for the excellent wofik it Iliad 'carried out during the past yehr and for the financial assistance rendered the Church.
