SCHOOL COMMITTEE.
The ordinary meeting of the local D.H. School Committee was held •last, evening. Present: Messrs J. K. Hornblow (chairman), Cowley, Christie, Huntley, Hutchins, Perreau, and Jno. R-oss. Apologies for absence were received from Messrs Rangiheuea and Stevenson. The resignation of the caretaker was rereived, and it was decided to invite applications for the position. Several matters were left over tor the incoming committee to deal with.
