TOjWN pHALL. Gary Cooper and Fay Wray, two rising star’s in Paramount films, will be seen in t'lieir first starring effort, “The First Kiss/’ at the Town Hail to-morrow (Wednesday) evening. Briefly, it is a story of a youth who becomes a picturesque river pirate in an endeavour to save his family’s honour. Naturally, there is a beautiful heiress who ibraves scandal and death in her love for him. 'Supporting pictures are Hot Sparks (a Christie comedy), Cartoon, Gazettes and Scenic. Usual prices. Similes, giggles and shrieks are promised with the showing of “Chicken a La King,” which opens at the Town Hall next Friday. The principal roles are in the capable hands of Nancy Carroll, the Kose of the film version of “Abie's Irish Pose,” Ford Sterling, the inimitable comedian, Geoige Meeker, Arthur Stone and Frances Lee. “Boses of Picardy,” heading the second all-British programme, will he Saturday’s attraction.
