COMPULSORY CAUTION.

“STOP” SIGNS FOR MOTORISTS. Wellington, April 4. Additional regulations under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1924, as to erection of “compulsory stop” signs are gazetted to-night. It is provided that every local authority imay erect such traffic sign at any place at which, in its opinion, it is desirable that every driver should stop his vehicle and that the driver may not proceed until it is reasonably apparent that in doing so he produces no danger to the vehicle, its occupants, or to any other traffic.
