GORGE BRIDGE UNDER REPAIR
A warning is issued to motorists who will be using the Manawatu Gorge road from to-day that gates are to be placed across each end of the Gorge bridge while repairs are being effected. The gates will be kept closed continuously with a man in charge night and day, and motorists will be required to stop before entering the bridge and pass over slowly.
