CARNIVAL NOTES.

Last evening l a successful card party was held in Hamer’s lounge by the Country candidate committee, when the following were successful in annexing prizes:—Mesdames M. Boss and Seabury, Miss Y. Easton, Messrs Pritchard, W. liHamer and Wanklyn. It is the intention of the Coimmittee to hold these card parties every Tuesday in future. On Saturday evening next the Sports committee will hold a dance in the Masonic Hall, when patrons are promised something out of the ordinary. A special attraction will be a number of novelties, and a good time is promised all attending. The Sports committee will hold a euchre party in Hamer’s rooms this evening. To-morrow (Friday) evening, the Citizens’ committee will hold a dance in the Masonic Hall.
