TOWN HALL. Scenes for the Paramount production of Zane Grey’s story, “The Water Hole,” which the Town Hall will feature on Wednesday, were actually filmed in Arizona, the locale of the story. Jack Holt plays the leading role in this drama of society life in the cities and primitive life in the desert. The story “The Water Hole,” first appeared in Colliers’ weekly, where it had a wide reading, and Zane Grey expanded it into a novel. The tale is unusual for Zane Grey, because its Western scenes are only incidental to the main theme of the .story. Paramount has niade this story into one of the big specials of the year, measuring it with the former successful Zany Grey production “Wlanderer of the Wasteland.” The filming was done partly in technieolour and beautiful vistas of the georgeous Arizona desert region are included in the film.,. Usual prices. “Good Tune'Gharley,” a stage romance mil be Friday’s attraction. The screen epic “Metropolis,” has been booked for screening early next. week. This marvellous production shows a city of marvels, 100 years hence. There are 10,000 actors in the picture. ,
