PLUNKET SOCIETY

The monthly meeting of the local (branch of the Plunket Society was held in the Society’s rooms yesterday afternoon'. There were presept: Mesdames Procter (chair), Perreau, Adaims, Walton, Baker, Trueiman, Bergin and Barron (hon. sec.) Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames F. Robinson, Christie, W. Smith and Martin. The nurse’s report and formal correspondence were read and received. Accounts totalling £3B 15s 7d were passed for payment. Receipts from Corn’s weighing machine, 7/3. Mrs. Walton was appointed visitor and flower steward for the month.
