CARNIVAL NOTES.

The Citizens’ Colmmittee held a very successful and enjoyable dance in the Masonic Hall on Thursday night. On Wednesday afternoon the Citizens’ Committee will hold a garden party at the grounds of Mrs. W. E. Barber, at Motuiti. Games, competitions, and afternoon tea. Admission I/-. The Sports Comlmittee ,will hold euchre parties in Hamer’s rooms every Thursday evening). {Piflzes for both men and women and a points prize. To-day the Sports arc holding a shop day and on Saturday evening next a dance in the Masonic Hall.
