WEDDING.

GRADY—BREE. St. Patrick’s Church, Palmerston North, was the scene on Monday evening, 11th February, of the wedding of Mary Teresa, third daughter of Mi’s, and the late Mr. J. Bree, of Tokolmaru, and Alexander, youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Grady. The ceremony was performed by Father Brennan, of Foxton. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of Mr. E. Perry, wore a gown of maize satin and tulle. The skirt fell in a graceful line and was finished with a silk tulle peaked hem, the bodice being cut on tight lines, and on the shoulder was a dainty posy. The pink embroidered tulle veil was arranged in mob cap style and was finished with an orange blossom coronet. Silver shoes and stockings completed her dainty attire. She carried a shower bouquet of flowers shaded from cream to flaime with asparagus fern. Her two bridesmaids, Misses Winnie Perry and Joan Bree (the. latter being the sister of the bride) wore dainty georgette frocks of coral and mauve respectively, the bodices being tight with pin tucks and the; skirts full falling in uneven hems, and they wore hats to match their frocks. They carried shower bouquets of pink and mauve flowers with 'asparagus fern. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Jack Bree, brother of the bride. The wedding reception was held at the residence of Mr. and Mrs: Arthur Grady, Palmerston North. The bride’s mother received her guests in a navy crepe-de-ehene frock with bat to match'. The room and tables were decorated to match the bridal party. After the reception the happy couple left by car for Wanganui where the honeymoon was spent. The bride travelled in a frock of green repp with fawn hat, coat and shoes. The bridegroom’s gifts to the bridesmaids were a signet ring and an armlet respectively. Amongst those present at the reception were: Father Brennan, Mr. and Ms. E. Perry, Mr. and Mrs. A. Grady, Mi’, and Mrs. Roland Judd, Miss J. Judd, (Mr. and Mrs. Murphy, Mr. J. Grady, Mr. B. Bree. During the day many telegrams of congratulation were received from various parts of New, Zealand.
