BLENHEIM OIL BORE.
BIG RISE IN SHARES. New Plymouth, February 8. Further boring for oil at Moturoa is likely to be undertaken in the near future. An option over 30 acres has been secured on behalf of some Sydney business men, and an expert is being sent over with a view to forming a company. Activity in Blenheim bore shares continues on the Stock Exchange. To-day a sale Avas made at £6 5s Od, and at closing time sellers Avere asking £6 10s Od Avith buyers offering £6. It is known that a parcel of shares changed hands at £7. The reclamation company reported to-day that pumping and bailing had been continued induce a flow through the seven-inch casing. Gas pressure Avas increasing daily, Avith a good shoAving of oil.
