Mr. and Mrs. P. A. Mason and family are at present, residing at the beach. Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Scott and family are spending a holiday at the local seaside. Mr. G.i R. Harrison, of Palmerston North, has (been transferred to Fox ton and has taken up his duties ns postman, replacing ,J. K. Martin, who has been appointed exchange clerk* in place of 0. L. Anderson. Mr. A. J. McPherson, late clerk to the illutt .County Council, and exTown Clerk at Eastbourne, has been appointed Town Clerk of the Borough of Elth'am, out of 62 applications. Mr. W. H. Reynolds, of Elthani, was appointed reserves caretaker, out of 24 applications.
