CRICKET.
A friendly game of cricket was played at the Foxton Beach on Saturday between teams representing the “All Saints’ Home” and a team drawn from the “boys” residing at the beach which was selected by Lloyd Hardie. The weather was favourable with a slight breeze blowing across the wickets. Great interest was evinced in the game by the players and spectators alike. The match resulted in a win for the “Beach boys” by ten wickets. The Scores were as follows: — “ALL SAINTS.” First Innings.—R. Armstrong ‘l, C. Robert 0, I. Kendrick 0, W. AfcUhail 2, J. Lloyd 11, R.
