Tlie Wellington centre of the New Zealand Swimming Association held its championship carnival at Wellington on Saturday in perfect weather in the Te Aro baths before a large attendance. 'Results: — 100 yards cente championship. — W. Cameron 1, C. Claridge 2, J. Blakeley 3. Time, 56 4-ssees. A New Zealand record. 100 yards centre championship.— —Mass Kathleen Miller 1. Time, 75 l-ssees. 440 yards centre championship.—C. Claridge 1, €. Rix Troft 2, G: Blakeley 3. Won by 25 yards.
