ST. MARY’S BAZAAR.
St. Mary’s Bazaar, which was held in the Masonic Hall on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of last week was 1 brought to a successful close on Satin-day evening. The bazaar was favoured with large attendances at all sessions and the result socially and financially was particularly gratifying. Over £l3O was raised. On Saturday evening the various competitions and the art union were drawn under police supervision, particulars of which are advertised in this issue. The following programme was also contributed: — Orchestral item, “Norwegian Cradle Song,” violins, Misses C. Walsh, F. Symons, L. Annesly, and Mr. J. Purcell, accompanied by pianoforte trio (Misses P. Skellen, N. Woods, and K. Roore); Dutch Clog dance, Miss N. Pritchard, with Mr. J. Newton at the piano. Mrs. S. Barber received a fine ovation for her singing of two popular numbers. Miss Delany being at the piano.
